Introducing Miss Mali Tipping, one of our knowledgeable music tutors.
Mali Tipping is a Sydney based Cellist, recently relocated from the mid north coast region. She has played Piano, Violin, and Cello from the age of 6, and her musical education has been an eclectic one. Mali comes from a family of talented and multi-disciplined musicians, with her father performing as a leading Australian-African Drummer. Mali has been involved in holistic education in music since her completion of the AMusA exams in 2019. Her approach allows students to gain musical rhythm and intonation as they are immersed into the technical world of musicianship.
In her own career Mali has played with acclaimed groups such as the ACO, Acacia String Quartet, James Morrison band, and more. She has received decorated awards in her education at Coffs Harbour and Bellinger eisteddfods. Mali is currently studying a Bachelor of Law and Musical performance as she continues to teach the next generation of well rounded string instrumentalists.
