Annual Bandfest Performance
Bandfest is an annual festival that celebrates the joy of learning and playing music in a band. Run over two weeks, it attracts entries from Primary and High Schools from across NSW.
Held in a ‘state of the art’ theatre, Bandfest is an incredible performance opportunity that allows bands to play for members of the wider community. It teaches them audience etiquette and helps foster confidence by practicing performance and stagecraft skills. It is also a great chance for students to listen to and meet peers from other schools…. But most important of all, it’s FUN!
School Bands Australia is very proud to have had many of our school bands receive ‘Gold Medals’ in this festival over the years and we look forward to future success!
