We are thrilled to announce that Mr Martin Davison has been nominated for ‘The Telstra ARIA Music Teacher of the Year award’! We are so grateful for all of your support in the nominating process- we could never have done it without you.
This award celebrates the incredible work and talents of Music Teachers within the Australian Music Industry. Mr Davison has been teaching and spreading his passion for music for over 35 years.
He has touched the lives of thousands of children. As the founder & Director of School Bands Australia he has created band programs in schools all across Sydney and has helped students learn the life skills that come with learning music; teamwork, respect, listening and the language of music.
His dedication to music education is so strong, he is now mentoring the next generation of music teachers to meet the needs of our ever-changing society.
He has created opportunities for his students to showcase their skills within their school communities through assemblies, presentation days & also once in a lifetime ‘gigs’ such as the Easter Show & the Sydney Opera House.
